This is the first documentary that Richard Armitage narrated for the Natural World series, following the work of field biologist Andrea Turkalo. She has spent twenty years in the Central African Republic living amongst forest elephants and interpreting their social interactions and vocalisations. Her acoustic research is shedding light on the many mysteries surrounding forest elephant society, which Andrea hopes will tell her what they need to survive.
