Twitter Q&A
Richard held a Q&A on twitter via @WarnerBrosFr (Warner Bros France twitter account) on 4th December. He replied in french (presumably through a translator, or his french is remarkably good!). You can read the English transcript here, with thanks to Suzelle.

Television appearance
Richard, Peter and Martin appeared on the French TV show “Le Grand Journal” on 4th December and the show’s twitter account (@GrdJournal) posted this picture of Richard, Peter and Martin looking rather tired!
Sunday 7th December: Comic Con Experience (CCXP), São Paulo, Brazil.
Richard will introduce the screening of the film at 10.30am. He will also appear at the Warner Bros. panel later that day.

Monday 8th December: Ceremony on Hollywood Walk of Fame for Peter Jackson
The Hollywood Reporter have announced that Peter Jackson will get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on 8th December and Richard, Andy Serkis, Orlando Bloom, Lee Pace, Evangeline Lilly, Luke Evans and Elijah Wood will be there to watch the proceedings. Richard tweeted this news on 25 November and his reaction here.
Tuesday 9th December: US Premiere, TCL Chinese Theater, Hollywood Blvd, Los Angeles.
TheOneRing.net were the only providers of a livestream from the LA premiere of The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies. Their full video is here on YouTube and Richard appears at 1:51:30 or you can watch an edited video of just Richard here.

Fans were invited to attend a free screening of The Hobbit: BOTFA with a Q&A with Richard and Lee Pace afterwards.
