This website was founded on 22 October 2008 by Ali and Hedgeypig with much assistance and support from:

Brace Face, Emerald, Dawn, Dreamcatcher, Madnad, Dawn, Tonia, Vivayn

It was renamed “RichardArmitageNet” in April 2009.

After 11 years at the helm of RichardArmitageNet, Ali passed the site on to Sonja in December 2019. With the help of many fans and a fundraising auction, we were able to have a professional make-over of the site and give it its new look and home.

How do I save a screencap from the gallery?

In the gallery view, right-mouse-click on the image (Ctrl-click on a Mac) and choose Save Image As. This will allow you to save the image to your hard drive.

How do I reload a page to see the latest updates?

When you view pages online that you’ve already visited, your browser will store the pages in its local cache so that the images or text are downloaded only once, thereby speeding up download time. If new updates have been made on any pages or in the picture gallery on this site and you cannot see the changes, you may need to refresh the page.

Press F5 to reload the page, or to wipe the cache entirely, press Ctrl F5 on a PC or Cmd F5 on a Mac.

Usage policy

Screencaps are provided for fair use. They can be used in artwork, videos and posted on forums and blogs. Credit is not compulsory but is appreciated. This does not apply to the personal photographs in the Candid Picture galleries. Please do not crop watermarks out of candid pictures. As a courtesy, usage beyond personal storage on your PC should be referred to the person whose name appears on the image watermark.

Please do not hotlink to any of the images on this site as it will increase demand on my server. Load images to photobucket, imageshack or another host if you wish to post the images anywhere online.

Wallpapers, signatures, icons, artwork and the calendar are for personal use. They are not to be posted elsewhere without the permission of the owner.

Multimedia and problems playing videos on this site

All videos will play using VLC (http://www.videolan.org/vlc/) which is also free. Firefox and VLC work equally well on a Mac or PC.

If you cannot watch any streaming videos on this site, make sure you have downloaded the latest version of your internet browser (i.e. Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, etc) and also the latest version of Flash.

I have downloaded a ‘zip file’ from this site, how do I open the files?

A zip file is a compressed format containing one or more files. Some operating systems will allow you to double-click the zip file when it is downloaded and you can then access the files inside. If your Mac or PC doesn’t allow this, you can download a free zip program like WinZip or StuffIt Expander.
