This is the second time that Richard Armitage has narrated a documentary for the Natural World series, having previously narrated the Forest Elephants: Rumbles in the Jungle programme which was broadcast in March 2010. This documentary about Elsa the Lioness and her adopted carers Joy and George Adamson revists the story fifty years later, with contributions from Virginia McKenna who starred in the 1960s film 'Born Free' and naturalist and broadcaster David Attenborough.
