Terms and Conditions

  • Only one email per person please.
  • The competition opened on Thursday 4th September 2014 and closes on Sunday 7th September 2014 at 6.00pm (UK time).
  • The prize is kindly donated by an anonymous visitor, who will be sitting in one of the front row seats. Her friend cannot attend and so one of the seats listed on the image above will be donated free to the winner.
  • The donor of the prize will arrange to meet the winner at the Old Vic and hand over the ticket before the performance.
  • Entries must contain a statement, comprising no more than 25 words in total, stating why you wish to win the prize.
  • All entries will be read by the owner of this website and the donor of the prize only, and will remain strictly confidential.
  • The winning statement will not be published, but the person’s name will be posted on this site to announce the winner.
  • The donor will select the winner herself after judging all the statements that are submitted. The decision will be final and no correspondence entered into.
  • The winner will be contacted via email as soon as their entry is chosen by the donor of the prize on Sunday evening.
  • This competition is open to everyone (except the founder of this website) regardless of your country of residence.
  • Any travel costs and other arrangements to attend the play on Tuesday 9th September must be met by the winner.
  • All email addresses and correspondence will remain confidential and all emails will be deleted at the end of the competition.
